The awards recognise dedicated individuals and teams who have gone the extra mile in delivering justice across the county.
The highly regarded national scheme promotes excellence and best practice within the criminal justice system.
Locally, the objective of the Awards is to recognise the work of staff working within, and in partnership with, the criminal justice system in Wiltshire and Swindon.
They aim to inform the public of the positive initiatives and the many stories of dedication and commitment; and to improve the system as a whole by sharing information and ideas on what works best.
These awards also provide the opportunity to say a special thank you to the committed people working and volunteering within our criminal justice system that have made an exceptional contribution to justice in Wiltshire and Swindon during the past year.
Nominations are welcome for staff or volunteers from every criminal justice agency that makes up Wiltshire’s criminal justice system, as well as for partner agencies, such as local authorities and victim support, and voluntary organisations that work with adults or young people who are victims, witnesses, defendants or offenders.
Finalists and winners will be announced at a special ceremony in London on October 21.
